About Bespoke Cuisine
Bespoke Cuisine is a full-service
boutique caterer serving the Chicago metro area. We are a women-owned
small business that offers the one-to-one customer service and attention
to detail that sets us apart from the competition.
THE
OWNERS
Kim
Shambrook, Executive Chef/Owner
Making a career change from the corporate world, Kim pursued a life-long
passion and received her culinary training from Kendall College
in Evanston. In her previous life she was Vice President of Operations
at closerlook, Inc., a new media firm, and held numerous executive
positions with the National Association of Realtors and other professional
associations. She also holds BA and master's degrees in Education,
and puts that training and experience to work at Bespoke's popular
Cooking Parties.
Jeannie
Lukow, Owner
Jeannie leads Bespoke's front-of-house operations, including event
planning and menu development, as well as marketing. After graduating
from Michigan State University, Jeannie built a 15-year career in
marketing communications, much of it spent in association management.
Her most recent position was as Managing Director of Marketing Communications
for the National Association of Realtors. Her extensive world travels
have contributed to her love of global cuisine which is evident
in Bespoke's menu. In her spare time, Jeannie serves as president
of Porchlight Music Theatre
Chicago where she is a founding board member.
THE STAFF
Calvin
Roberson, Sous Chef
Calvin's passion for cooking comes from early experiences growing
up with family in the food industry. After working in the corporate
world for many years, Calvin followed his love of cooking and attended
the Art Institute of Illinois for a degree Culinary Arts. As the
Sous Chef for Bespoke he runs the daily kitchen operations, works
on menu and recipe development, chefs off-site events as well as
our private and Mix it Up cooking parties.
