General Ordering & Event Guidelines

ORDERS
We no longer accept delivery or pickup orders.
BOOKING
AN EVENT
We would be happy to provide
you with a customized proposal for your social, corporate or wedding
event. Refer to the "Contact Us" link for the information
we need to create a quote. We need one week's notice at minimum,
but prefer 4+ weeks, depending on the size of the event.
Selecting
the Menu
Many clients select some
or all of their menu items from our website prior to calling. Others
prefer to have us develop a customized menu for them.
Changes,
Cancellations & Final Guest Counts
Order changes and final
guest counts for most events are due 72 hours prior to your event
(further in advance for larger events/weddings as detailed in your
specific Event Confirmation).
Note that if your final
guarantee is greater than 20% less than the guest count on which
the quote/proposal was given, that there will be an increase in
the per person food price. Cancellation policy for staffed events
is detailed in your Event Confirmation.
Deposits
& Payments
Bespoke Cusine accepts Visa, Mastercard and American Express for
payment and deposits.
Events require a 50%
deposit, due in advance with the signed Event Confirmation, by the
due date indicated. For future events, you can secure a date/event
by providing a $500 date hold deposit ($1,000 or more for weddings
and large events).
Because of the nature
of our business, final payment is due to Bespoke Cuisine upon delivery
or at the conclusion of your catered event.
Staffing
& Gratuities
Bespoke Cuisine has a cadre of professionally trained servers, bartenders,
and chefs who provide friendly, attentive service. For most events,
dress is black and white with a regular black tie and bistro apron.
A minimum of 2 staff is required for staffed events. All staff has
a 5-hour minimum per person. Rates:
$27 per hour for the first chef/server/supervisor
$20 per hour per server
$20 per hour per bartender
$20 per hour per chef
When considering number
of hours required, assume a minimum of 1 hour for setup and 1/2
hour for cleanup. Larger events may require more time. Rates may
be higher during holiday periods and are time-and-a-half on actual
holidays.
Please consider tipping
the staff if you feel they have done a good job. A range to consider
is $50-$100 per person depending on the duration and difficulty
of the event, and can be given in cash to each person at the event
or can be included with your payment to Bespoke Cuisine for us to
distribute.
Bespoke Cuisine routinely
adds up to 20% gratuity for all weddings and corporate events.
Rentals
For staffed events, Bespoke will handle rentals for you, including
linen, china, flatware, glassware, table/chairs and other supplies
as needed. If clients handle their own rentals, we must see the
final rental order and a rental coordination fee will apply.

Tastings
For events of 100 persons or more, we are happy to provide limited
representative samples of the menu you are considering. Note that
the purpose of our tastings is to give you a feel for whether you
like our food, not to have you sample everything you are considering.
There is a $30 fee for a tasting for two which is fully credited
to your final bill. Additional persons are $10 each. Tasting appointments
are scheduled with one week's notice and are held at Bespoke Cuisine.
Insurance
Bespoke Cuisine carries liability insurance, $2,000,000 in coverage,
including liquor liability (dram shop) if alcohol is being served.
Upon request we can provide "certificates of insurance."
Leftover
Food
For liability reasons, there are many items that we cannot leave
behind at events we are staffing. If you sign our Leftover Food
Waiver, we can leave some items behind. Note that this does not
include extra food that Bespoke has brought over and above the food
for the guaranteed number of guests. Any extra food that you elect
not to keep is donated to the Pacific Garden Mission, but we would
be happy to donate your food to the shelter or food pantry of your
choice.
Referrals
Word of mouth is our best form of advertising. If you're pleased
with our food and service, pass along the word to your friends and
acquaintances. As a thank you for your confidence in us, we'll send
you a 10% discount certificate off a
Bespoke food purchase or cooking party (does not include staffing,
rentals or other charges; maximum value of $100) for each referral
we receive that books a delivery or event and mentions your name.
